Twelve years ago, I was able to spend Memorial Day at Arlington Cemetery. It was awesome to say the least. If you have never been to Arlington, put it high on your travel list. There is another thought to mention today...a friend told me about John McCain's book "Faith of my Fathers" & I am going to start reading it. It tells of his father & grandfather's experience in fighting for our country & his story of being a prisoner of war. Just the bits I heard about seemed inspiring so just thought I would share. (Guess it is about time I get interested in this election....hard to when all you hear about is the democratic race)
