Cooper and I went to the ortho doc today & got the good news he could stop wearing his leg brace. Dr. McCarthey just recommended avoiding trampolines or jumping off things or sports-like activities for 4 months (the trampoline will be easy, but the rest????) Cooper's xray of his leg was as expected-- a bigger hole in his femur than he started out with b/c they dug out the yucky part. Dr. M said we will follow-up in 6 months for repeat xrays b/c it will really take that long to see the bone fill in. Between you & me, waiting 6 months is just fine b/c we waited 3 hours to be seen -- which as you can imagine went over well with the hungry 4 year old & pregnant momma. We will see the infection doc next Thursday b/c we are still trucking along with IVs every 8 hours.
This video was taken last night after Cooper got out of the bath--he just started singing and dancing "Superfreak"--it was hilarious! I thought this would help everyone see he is really in good spirits. He just gets very nervous in public places b/c he has been getting so much attention when we arrive places.

hahaha! what are you teaching your children? I'm glad everything is going so well. Good luck not letting a 4 year old boy not jump around for 4 months.
